People have asked: Why Rock My Llama? Well first of all let's start off by saying Llamas as cool. For the most part, llamas are chill, but treat them wrong and they will spit all over you. I love that vibe. Llamas also produce wool and as a lifelong knitter (thank you mom and grandma) I love any and all fibers. At 58, I finally decided to turn my "someday" into my "finally" and open a knitwear store. I wanted to curate knitted cats, scarves, ponchos and other knitted items. Well Llamas represent fibers, they are cool, so when having to choose a name, I gravitated toward them. When I played with names, I found out that according to the Urban Dictionary, Rock My Llama means: "A phrase used to express an ecstatic love for something that is worthy of awe". And boom, I had my business name.
